It is always a great experience to watch people play #Haxity, since it gives insight into how other people interact with the game, and what we need to improve. The streamer event one week ago was no exception!
Among the issues that were brought up, was the amount of hacks you get before the first fight. This doesn’t seem to be an issue for more experienced players, so we will keep an eye on this and see if we can make some adjustments to accommodate new players.
We are currently in the process of improving the user experience design. During the stream, we observed that [Jeff Hoogland] was timing out while drafting. We are discussing a couple of fixes for this: We need to improve the visualization of how much time you have left, and make sure you get a clear audiovisual cue when you are running out of time. In addition, we will look at exactly how much time people get during the draft steps. New players need more time to read the cards, and one solution might be to give “bonus time” to new players.
